The trade is focused on technology based qualification for maritime and multi-modal transport processes.

Papers are welcome reporting on research or best practice experiences of education and training application areas related to ships, ports and terminal or hinterland operations .

  • e-Training in distributed and web-based environments
  • Verification, validation, certification and standardisation of simulators
  • Industrial applications and best practices (crane simulators, other harbour vehicles, ship handling simulation, navigation and radar simulation, bridge simulation, engine room simulation, fishing simulator)
  • Simulation-based training courses experiences
  • Simulation impact case studies(cost, accidents, maintenance, training schedules, risk prevention)

Nevertheless different topics concerning Maritime Training are welcome. Authors are kindly invited to include in their papers and presentations all the research works, case studies and application both theoretical and applied.
